I have never seen anything like this before: Art In A Box is a monthly art subscription. Yeah you heard me, MONTHLY ART SUBSCRIPTION. Art In A Box was created by The Compound Gallery to support local artists in the Bay Area.
The concept is pretty basic, you subscribe, $30 (pick-up only) or $50 (shipping + bonus piece), and they will send you an art in a box every month. When you first subscribe, they will ask for three adjectives describing your art taste and your most/least favorite medium. However, you are not allowed to choose the piece and/or the artist.
